Expertise. Experience. Compassionate care.
I’m Brandy Lehman, and I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management services.Â
I have been a nurse for more than twenty years, with 10+ years of experience working in outpatient behavioral health. I am passionate about providing quality and comprehensive mental health medication services addressing a range of needs including anxiety, depression, mood disorder, ADHD, personality disorder, substance use, and PTSD. I follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my role is multifaceted, encompassing education, medication management services, mental health advocacy, and holistic practices that envelop the mind, body, and spirit. I work with both the patient and the family to meet individual healthcare goals.
A transplant to the Chicago area, Ryan grew up in Western New York and worked in a number of fields, including journalism and education, before moving to Illinois. He graduated from Elmhurst University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and went on to attend Rosalind Franklin University, where he earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Ryan is NCCPA board certified and licensed in Illinois, bringing more than five years of diverse clinical experience as a physician assistant to his practice. His interest in behavioral health first developed during his time working in emergency medicine, where he was tasked with assessing and managing acute psychiatric crises.
Ryan’s clinical interests include alcohol use disorder and he is a strong proponent of harm reduction measures, aiming to minimize the social and personal impact of substance misuse. Ryan also enjoys working with adolescents with various behavioral health diagnoses, including anxiety and ADHD, helping to guide and support them through their unique challenges.
He looks forward to welcoming patients into his practice and hopes to be both a trusted medical professional and a source of solace and understanding for all those under his care.
Ryan enjoys spending his time outside of work relaxing with his family, going for long runs in the woods, restoring vintage bicycles, and listening to (and making) music.
My path into psychiatry began long before becoming a physician assistant. During my years of military service, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that stress, trauma, burnout, and untreated mental health conditions can have on individuals, families, and communities. I also became increasingly aware of the stigma that often prevents people from seeking help — particularly in high-performing, high-responsibility environments where vulnerability is frequently misunderstood as weakness. Those experiences shaped my passion for my career in psychiatry and continue to influence the way I approach patient care today.
I earned my Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Des Moines University, where I also completed graduate studies in human anatomy. Throughout my training and professional career, I have remained deeply committed to ongoing education, evidence-based practice, and thoughtful collaboration with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that are both clinically effective and realistic for everyday life.
My clinical approach emphasizes creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing the full complexity of their experiences. I believe psychiatric care works best when patients feel genuinely heard, understood, and involved in the treatment process. I strive to balance evidence-based medication management with attention to lifestyle factors, therapy integration, behavioral strategies, and the unique personal circumstances that influence mental health and overall wellbeing.
In addition to my civilian psychiatric practice, my continued service in the military has reinforced the importance of adaptability, resilience, teamwork, and compassionate leadership. These experiences continue to shape my perspective as a provider and strengthen my commitment to helping patients navigate challenges with practical support, education, and collaborative care.
I consider it a privilege to work alongside patients through periods of growth, transition, and recovery, and I remain dedicated to providing thoughtful, current, and patient-centered psychiatric treatment grounded in both clinical excellence and human connection.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctorate in psychiatric nursing from the University of Illinois, I am committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. I have a strong foundation in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders for children as young as 5 years old to older adults up to 86 years old, allowing me to manage the complex needs of the whole human being.
My clinical practice is guided by comprehensive, evidence-based principles, ensuring that my patients receive the most effective and up-to-date treatments. I have worked in various settings, including hospitals, community mental health centers, and private practices, which has broadened my understanding of the diverse needs of mental health patients.
My approach to patient care is holistic, focusing on the physical, emotional, and social aspects of an individual’s well-being. I believe in empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health care, promoting autonomy, and fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect.
Hello! I’m Eric Ward, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and relationship/men’s coach. I’ve been working with adolescent and adult clients for more than 30 years. I particularly enjoy working with couples and men who are struggling with relationships, work, and parenting. Â
My goal in working with clients is to help them rediscover the emotional and psychological connections with others that make a more meaningful life achievable.
My style of therapy can be described as “radically kind” (probably a fancy way of saying “direct”). I help people define their goals, identify the barriers to accomplishing those goals, and get to work developing the skills necessary to meet them.
I am married and have 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter. In my “free” time I am an amateur author. If you’re interested, you can find my books on this website.

I value building trusting relationships based on empathy and acceptance by treating all people with dignity, respect, and kindness. Listening with compassion, without judgment and while prioritizing the needs of my clients is my number one priority.

The techniques I utilize include cognitive behavioral, client-centered, solution-focused, multicultural, and trauma informed. Se Habla Español. Hi! I’m Victoria, and I’m a relationship coach and Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe people are naturally lively and healthy, but our access to this liveliness can become blocked as we are forced to adjust to various life challenges.

By fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment, I encourage people to explore their emotions, improve their communication skills, and strengthen their bonds.
