Our Relationship Savings Account Workbook

We (should, at least) have a financial savings account. It’s money we put away for emergencies. For when the amount of cash going out of our household exceed the amount coming in. Having a savings account not only helps us pay the bills, it gives us security and peace of mind, as well as the confidence of knowing that we can weather the next big “thing” that comes along. Relationships are no different. Sometimes life – or our partner! – withdraws more from us than we have to give. If we don’t have a relationship savings account, we become overdrawn. When that happens, we run the risk of losing the relationship. This workbook will help you and your partner begin the process of making intentional “deposits” into your join relationship savings account. And, hopefully, not just save but strengthen your journey together.

Eric Ward, doctorate of psychology and licensed mental health provider

Dr. Eric Ward, PsyD, LCPC

Hello! I’m Eric Ward, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and relationship/men’s coach. I’ve been working with adolescent and adult clients for more than 30 years. I particularly enjoy working with couples and men who are struggling with relationships, work, and parenting.

My goal in working with clients is to help them rediscover the emotional and psychological connections with others that make a more meaningful life achievable.

My style of therapy can be described as “radically kind” (probably a fancy way of saying “direct”). I help people define their goals, identify the barriers to accomplishing those goals, and get to work developing the skills necessary to meet them.

I am married and have 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter. In my “free” time I am an amateur author. If you’re interested, you can find my books on this website.
